Who owns each QR once it has been transferred?
The member does. When they accept the invitation, the QR moves into their own Kindtact account, with their own contact settings and their own inbox. The sticker doesn't change, because the code stays the same through the transfer.
Can our organisation see our members' messages or contact details?
No. After a transfer, messages go to the member's own inbox, and what they share is their choice. Their phone number is only shown to someone who scans if they choose to share it from their own dashboard.
What if a member leaves the club or moves on?
The QR is theirs, so they can archive it from their own dashboard whenever they like. Anyone who scans an archived QR sees a friendly “no longer active” page instead of the contact form.
Do our members need an app?
No. A member signs in with a free Kindtact account to accept their invitation, and that's all. The person who scans a sticker needs only a phone camera.
Can we send a whole batch of QRs to members at once?
Yes, on the Premium and Business plans, where one invitation can carry many QRs. On other plans you transfer them one at a time with the Transfer button on each QR.
