Service business contact QR — stay reachable, keep your number private
A contact QR for your van, shopfront, quote, or invoice. Customers reach your business through a private relay — no personal mobile on display — and you can rotate who receives it or switch it off after hours.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a contact QR better than just printing our number?
A printed number is permanent and public — once it's on a van or a thousand flyers you can't take it back, and it usually rings a personal mobile. A Kindtact QR routes enquiries through a private relay into one business inbox, so your actual number stays private, you can reassign who receives messages without reprinting anything, and you can switch the channel off when you're closed.
Can several staff receive the messages?
Yes. You choose who picks up enquiries and can reassign that any time as people come and go. On the paid Business tier a team can share one inbox so whoever's available answers — handy when a job is passed between the office and people on the tools.
What does the customer see when they scan?
A simple contact form in their browser, plus any short note you've set — for example "Scan to reach us" or "Back Monday". They don't see a name, a personal number, or an address. They just type their enquiry and send it.
Can we pause it after hours or when we're flat out?
Yes. Switch the QR off whenever you like and back on later — or leave it on with an on-scan note that sets expectations, like "We're closed, leave your details and we'll call you back". The enquiry is captured either way; you answer when it suits.
Does the customer need an app to message us?
No. Any smartphone camera scans the QR and opens the form in the browser — no download, no sign-up. The lower the friction, the more enquiries actually reach you instead of being put off.
Where should we put the QR?
Anywhere a customer might want to reach you: the back or side of the van, the shopfront window, the foot of a quote or invoice, a yard sign, or a business card. The same code works everywhere, and you can use separate QRs to tell which placement an enquiry came from.
Can we show a short message when someone scans?
Yes. Every Kindtact QR can display a brief owner-set note on scan — opening hours, "leave your details and we'll call back", or a quick line about what you do — sitting right above the private contact form. It's a short note, not a full website.
How much does a Kindtact contact QR cost?
The account is free to start — up to 25 QRs and 5,000 messages a month — with paid Pro and Business tiers for teams, several vehicles or sites, and more QRs. You only pay for any printed stickers on top. Sticker packs are available now from the buy page; for Business plan pricing, contact sales@kindtact.com.
